Under the leadership of Davide Bomben, specialized ranger training programs prepare personnel to operate effectively in some of Africa’s most challenging and high-risk environments. Through the Poaching Prevention Academy, training combines tactical tracking, counter-poaching operations, wilderness navigation, field surveillance, patrol procedures, and emergency medical response with practical instruction in wildlife protection and conservation security.

Emphasizing operational discipline, situational awareness, and decision-making under pressure, these programs equip rangers with the knowledge and field capabilities needed to identify threats, respond to illegal poaching activity, and protect endangered wildlife and critical conservation areas. Through VORDR International, this expertise supports the development of specialized field training opportunities for military veterans, security professionals, and conservation personnel seeking to apply their skills in demanding operational environments.

Pilanesberg Ranger Training - South Africa

Led by Davide Bomben through the Poaching Prevention Academy, anti-poaching field instruction provides immersive, scenario-based training designed to prepare personnel for the operational realities of wildlife protection in high-threat environments. Conducted in African wilderness settings, the program emphasizes advanced human tracking, spoor analysis, covert observation, tactical movement, reconnaissance, patrol coordination, and field survival.

Participants develop the ability to recognize indicators of illegal activity, assess emerging threats, maintain situational awareness, and operate effectively in remote terrain where environmental hazards and organized poaching networks present significant challenges. Instruction also incorporates tactical emergency medicine, team communication, and disciplined decision-making under pressure. Through VORDR International, this specialized training provides military veterans, security professionals, and conservation personnel with practical field experience and transferable capabilities in protective intelligence, threat detection, and operational readiness.

Anti-Poaching Field Instruction

The Counter-Poaching Operator Program provides intensive, field-based instruction designed to prepare military veterans, security professionals, and conservation personnel for the operational demands of wildlife protection in high-risk African environments.

Led by Davide Bomben through the Poaching Prevention Academy, the program combines tactical fieldcraft, human tracking, reconnaissance, wilderness survival, and operational planning with practical training in anti-poaching operations. Participants are exposed to the environmental, logistical, and security challenges faced by professional ranger units responsible for protecting endangered wildlife and critical conservation areas.

COUNTER-POACHING OPERATOR

Led by Davide Bomben, the Professional Safari & Field Guide Program provides immersive field training for individuals seeking careers in African wildlife conservation, professional safari guiding, and wilderness operations. Conducted in the diverse landscapes of Southern Africa, the program combines practical instruction in wildlife behavior, animal tracking, bushcraft, wilderness navigation, environmental sciences, and guided expedition leadership.

Participants develop the knowledge and field experience necessary to operate responsibly in environments inhabited by dangerous wildlife, lead professional safari experiences, and manage safety in remote terrain. Emphasizing hands-on instruction, ecological understanding, and operational discipline, the program prepares aspiring guides, military veterans, and conservation professionals for the AFGA Level 1 qualification pathway and further opportunities within Africa's wildlife and ecotourism sectors.
